Have a Happy New Year. We are heading out tomorrow morning for a much needed family vacation to Mrytle Beach, SC! Looks like we will have some nice weather. So be ready for a lot of pictures when we return!!

Just a funny from Sara last night!

Jason was putting her to bed, which is a long process with a new story every night made up by Jason! How cute:) So he's tucking her and and she says "Daddy you know I don't like to sleep with my hiney facing out." Jason asks why and Sara says " Cause I'm afraid the monster will come and pinch me in the hiney!!" and "Make sure you lock the front door!"

So Saturday we set out to get some family pictures for some Christmas gifts... this is what happens when Sara gets tired of taking pictures!! It's so much harder to do my family than someone elses!!

Yankee Candle Store

Sara loves to go visit this store in Williamsburg. They have a room where it snows!! In the middle of all the shops there is a clock and it opens and kids can sit and hear the story.Just a few pics from our day there.

Jason's Surprise

Last night Sara and I surprised Jason. It was his last day of classes and he's done!!

Sara and I went and got our hair done at the salon and then went and got a limo. Sara thought the limo was sooo cool!! Meanwhile Jason was home thinking Sara and I were out shopping!! My friend(Thanks Dana!) dropped off this note for him:

The time has come for you to rest.
For 4 long years you've done your best.

Your suits in the closet,
now don't be late.

Be ready by 6.20pm
a surprise does await!

Now peeking out the window would spoil the plan.
Sara and I are awaiting our favorite Man!!

Sara and I showed up at the house with the limo!! He was sooo surprised and I think even more surprised that both Sara and I were all dressed up!!! We took him to dinner in Williamsburg at Doraldos. Sara did a great job at an adult restaurant!! As soon as we got back in the limo to come home, Sara was out and sound asleep.

Apprentice of the YEAR!!

Yup! That's the news we got on Friday!! Jason got Apprentic of the Year! More details to come. He goes Thursday to Richmond to get his award!!

*Got a few more details!! I get to go up with J on Thursday to the ceremony.Well, he has to have his official photographer with him!!LOL He was chosen out of 13,000 applicants!! from all Apprentice schools in Virginia!!!*

So proud of my husband!! He so deserves it!!

Jingle Bell Ball

We went to the Jingle Bell Ball last night at Sara's school. She had so much fun. Not sure she danced that much, but ran around with her friends and did some dancing with her teacher Mrs. Tonkin! Here are a few pics of her dancing with her daddy!
