Great Wolf Lodge

Saturday, Jasons aunt called to say she had extra passes to the Great Wolf Lodge
in Williamsburg. I was thrilled, since Sara has never gone nor has she ever been
to a water park! Yes, I know we live 30 mins from Water Country!!
So Sara and I got our swimsuits and off we went. We got their around 2pm and stayed till
6.30pm! We had a blast!! the place is huge with 6 different slides, a wave pool, kiddy
pool, a rambling river and a few other things I can't remember.
Sara's favorite part was the wave pool. My calfs were so sore the next day from jumping
the waves!! We did 5 of the slides and she loved them all.
Sunday I had 2 extra passes so Ashley and Cam came along too. If you don't tell Ashley
what we were going to ride, she was fine!! A few of the slides we got in line then just pushed her down!! Otherwise she woudn't of gone!! By the end of it she wanted to ride them agian!
Sara loved having Ashley with her to play and experience all the rides.
Every 5 mins this bucket(pic below) with fill up with, I think they said 1,000 gallons of water and then would dump out. Sara finally got brave enough to stand under it!
We definetly want to go back and take Jason with us and maybe get a room. The rooms book
up very fast and are a bit expensive. But not that we've experienced the park we think it's worth it!
On another note... still no camera... pics below were with my little point and shoot!! UGGGHHH. can't wait to get my real camera back. Driving me nuts not having it. Went to get a few pics of Sara the other day and forgot I didnt' have my good Canon!! Oh well...

No pictures for awhile..

Finally had a break in taking pictures that I sent my camera in. It was in much need of getting
cleaned and repaired...I'm hoping when it comes back that they'll just tell me to upgrade!! Jason and I checked our computer and I've taken well over 15,000 pictures!! in 2 years!!! They said it will take 3 weeks... I have a small point and shoot for this reason...so pictures may be few and far between.

Photo session with the hat

Waiting for snow?

They say we will get snow... She's been waiting!
Thank goodness she is feeling much better. Yesterday after school she started saying
her ear hurt. Then she wouldn't stop crying. I knew then it was bad. Called the dr.
office at 4.45pm...no longer seeing patients. Would have to wait till
Sat. am. I knew that wasn't going to work. Had dr. call us, hoping she'd let us come
see her before she left the office. 5.15 she calls! we run to the office. Sure enough a severe
ear infection! Poor thing is still crying... get Tylenol w/ codeine!! and antibiotics. Of course
Walgreens can't get it ready till 8.30pm!! I said fine went home. Sara wanted my chili!!
She loves it. Ate it and wanted more...a good sign. Then the crying and then screaming set in.
Nearly tore Jason apart! I called Walgreens at 7pm, pleading that they get our presciption done ASAP. I then just left the house figured maybe if they saw a worried mom they'd di it even quicker. Sure enough! I was back home by 7.30pm to a very frantic little girl that wanted
something to take the pain away.
That Tylenol is some wonderful stuff!! she slept without any pain last night! and is up and playing today!!
We had a little photo session this moring...posting them soon.

This is what I found yesterday morning when I woke up.
Sara loves to check the weather. This time she copied it down for me!
Some mornings I'm still asleep when she gets up and she comes into my room
and gives me the weather report! Gives me a chuckle most mornins, if its done
after 7AM!! some morings she's up as early at 5AM!!

Haley and Hannah Doll get their hair done!

Haley, Sara got for her birthday and the doll with the brown dress was my doll when I was
little. I can not remember what her name was, so Sara named her Hannah doll!!
She got the hair salon tools for Christmas and I came across the salon chair at the
thrift store today for $5!!! Amazing what fun $5 of fun a girl can have!

Junie B. Jones

This is what I found when I cam out of the kitchen!!
Then she realizes I'm taking her picture!
Then she wanted to read through dinner. Why not!! Thanks to her wonderful Kindergarten
teacher, who read Junie B. books all the take, Sara loves to read them herself now!

YEah I know...healthy dinner!!
