Here's a long one..Graduation and Party Update

Graduation night was a lot of fun. A bit long but well worth it! I haven't loaded any pics yet..so those to come.

Open House for J on Saturday went well too. There was a good turnout. Can you believe it I didn't take one picture! My dad took a few. He's going to get them to me. Thanks to everyone who came. You all played a special roll in our lives while Jason was in school.

A HUGE THANK YOU To my wonderful friend Julie who was awesome! She helped make sure all the food was kept up on the tables!! Thank you Julie, you're a wonderful friend!! Thanks to my mom, of course!! she just makes things happen! the food was awesome!! as always! can't forget dad too!! He made sure everything was set up, coffee was taken care of and made sure the food was all ok to be eaten!! Thanks to my sister as well... she's always there to help out!

Needless to say we were all exhausted come Saturday night.We went and had a special family dinner, just Sara J and I. Then came home and went to bed!!

I'm back working again!! (Thanks Chuck and Tina) Kind of a neat story.. last Sunday I was sitting at the table looking through job ads and telling Jason I need to find something. I'm getting bored of being home... no more than 30 mins later the owners of the Gelato(Italian Ice Cream) shop called and asked if I could come back to work!! and i'm getting more hours!! YEAH!! i'm going in earlier to start baking!! HAHA won't this be fun!!Just glad to be back.

Little update on Sara... She is doing really well in school! She has a list of 40 sight words...words that she has to be able to read without taking the time to sound them out. On Friday she did them all and is now onto 1st grade words!! We are so amazed at how fast she is catching on. Jason has started leaving her notes in the morning. She wakes me up to read them on her own. Before she leaves for school she has written him back! though not all the words are right she is trying all on her own! We then go back and rewrite them the correct way!! I'll have to post a picture of one of them..it's so cute!

Graduation Day!!

The Day is finally here!! Congrats to Jason. Sara and I are sooo proud of you and all you have done to get to this point. We love you...

Myrtle Beach Highlights- LONG post!

We are back from our trip! Had a great time. Weather was awesome!!

Had to stop at South of the Border!


Went to the beach... the weather was soo nice that day... Sara had her feet in the water and got her jeans soaked...had to go back to the car cause she didn't like having wet pants!





We went to Riply's Aquarium. It was really cute...they had this huge aquarium that you road this moving floor thing. They had huge sharks and all sorts of fish!


We got to ride a horse drawn carriage! Sara loved "Geroge" the horse!!


We stopped at Build-A-Bear and got Tinkerbear!!

THe last night we were they we went to the Dixie Stampede. It's one of the dinner and shows things. We had a great time. The first photo is of Sara's plate. YOu get a corninsh hen, pork, corn on the cob, biscuit and a dessert...all to be eaten with your fingers! Sara was hesitant at first but dug right in!!
